Designed for curious and independent travelers, this experience takes you deep into Granada’s most historic and atmospheric neighborhoods, both declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Explore the Albaicín: Granada’s Old Muslim Quarter

Walk through the Albaicín, the former Arab quarter of Granada: a labyrinth of narrow streets, whitewashed houses, hidden plazas, and quiet corners. This neighborhood preserves the essence of medieval Granada and offers some of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Alhambra.

As you walk, you’ll understand the city’s Muslim, Christian, and gypsy heritage, and how these cultures shaped the Granada you see today.
This is not just a tour — it’s a way to understand the city.

Discover Sacromonte: Cave Houses and Flamenco Roots

Continue to Sacromonte, one of the most unique neighborhoods in Spain, famous for its traditional cave houses and flamenco culture. This area reflects Granada’s deepest identity, far from the crowds and full of authenticity.

Here you’ll discover hidden corners, local stories, and breathtaking views over the valley and the Alhambra.

A local food lover’s way to experience Granada

Eats & Walk-Granada Food Experiencie

Are you the kind of traveler who plans their day around food? Because, same.

One of my favorite things to do when I travel is wander through food markets, peek into small local shops, and try everything that makes a place taste like itself. But let’s be honest—doing all that research takes forever, and sometimes those “must-visit” places are… not that special.

That’s where having a local friend makes all the difference.

On this experience, you won’t feel like a tourist—you’ll feel like you live here. We’ll explore Granada together, stopping at the kind of places locals actually go. The hidden gems. The tiny shops. The places you’d probably walk right past if you didn’t know.

We’ll start the morning the proper Spanish way: with a delicious local breakfast. Then we’ll continue tasting our way through the city—olive oil, cheeses, Iberian ham, Andalusian pastries, tapas, and local drinks along the way. Basically, come hungry.

This is not just a food tour—it’s a morning of eating, walking, discovering, and enjoying Granada like a local. No stress, no planning, just good food and good vibes.

Itinerary

  • We will start having breakfast in a typical Spanish cafetería (coffee with milk/tea and toast).
  • Walk through the city center and stop on the way in Granada’s Market that will introduce you to the local way of life in our city.
  • Tasting of extra virgin olive oil.
  • Stop in hidden local bars and taverns for tapas & drinks.
  • We will finish in a traditional bakery place for tasting Andalusian pastries.

At the end of this Food Tour, you’ll be able to taste tapas in some of my favorite bars. You will try different specialties (meat, sausages, cheese & Iberian and Serrano ham, olive oil), and you can also drink local beers, wine, homemade vermouth, etc.

The locations vary from shops and bars in the market to little food stores and family‑run eateries.

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let me know at least 72 hours in advance.

By the end, you won’t just know what to eat—you’ll know where locals actually go.
